This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally identifiable information’ (PII) is being used online. We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, Open a Support Ticket or enter information on our site.

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

How do we protect visitor information?
We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We use a protect third-party service for all financial transactions and email addresses are stored in a secure offsite location for registration purposes. Email addresses for our newsletter is securely stored by an SSL protected service, Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH).
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Cookies and tracking
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make a shop work at all: keeping items in your cart, remembering that you’re signed in, processing a payment. Those are set whatever you choose, because without them the site cannot do what you came for.
Everything else is optional and off until you turn it on.
When you first visit, we ask. If you choose Reject all, no analytics or advertising runs, no identifiers are set, and the site works exactly as it would otherwise — nothing is withheld and nothing is degraded. If you choose Accept all, or pick individual categories, we use:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) — to see which pages people read and where they leave. Stores _ga and _ga_*, up to two years.
- Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd, Malta) — to see where the site confuses people. Stores _hjSessionUser_* (one year) and _hjSession_* (30 minutes).
- Google Ads and Google Merchant Center (Google Ireland Ltd) — to measure whether our advertising works and to reach people who have visited before. Stores _gcl_au, 90 days.
- Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) — to measure advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
- WooCommerce order attribution — a first-party record of how you reached us, so we know which channel produced an order.
The legal basis for all of these is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and §25(1) TDDDG. Some of these companies process data in the United States; where that happens it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.
You can change your mind at any time. Use the Manage consent tab at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as giving consent, and withdrawal does not affect anything done while consent was in place.
We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends one, we treat it as a rejection and do not ask again.

Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Our site uses third-party services to operate: Stripe, PayPal, Klarna and Amazon Pay for payment, Brevo for our newsletter, and — with your consent — Google and Meta for analytics and advertising.

California Online Privacy Protection Act
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. How does our site handle do not track signals?
We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

Yes, when you consent to it. Advertising cookies from Google and Meta are used to measure our advertising and to reach people who have visited before. They are off unless you turn them on, and you can withdraw at any time
COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to children under 13.
Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
